What capability do we have?
We have three key machines. Two are muti-tasking CNC machines, a Mazak Integrex 100 and a Doosan MX2100ST. Both machines are less than five years old and have a supplier maintenance contract to keep them in tip top condition. The smallest machine in our fleet is the Citizen L20, a sliding head machine. All three machines are bar fed, so raw material can be turned into parts without operator intervention, with 24hour operation where necessary.
Both the Mazak and the Doosan can be used with much larger billets of material, though of course the billets have to be loaded individually to achieve this.
Last but not least, the Citizen handles 20mm bar and has a wide array of powered and static tools, allowing it to achieve precision machining in the shortest possible time.
In terms of tooling, we have no shortage of the common turning and milling tools. However, some jobs will always need dedicated tools and we can either use your tooling or involve a specialist to help produce the right tool for the job.
We normally make batches in the hundreds or thousands but these machines are also suitable for use with small batches and we even use them for prototyping new products.
Over the years, we have programmed hundreds of parts for our three machines and have sophisticated CAD/CAM capabilities. So, even if your design isn’t fully defined and drawn, don’t hesitate to get in touch. If you want to reverse engineer a rare or obsolete part, we may well be able to help. We can arrange for cast parts to be produced for final machining.
